Hindsight is a beautiful yet sometimes torturous thing.

All the firsts can be consuming. From the moment you hear their heartbeat for the first time or their first kicks during pregnancy, to the first cry and feeling their skin against yours... We wish so much for the next stage. Not because we want the now to be over, but out of excitement for what's to come.

Suddenly they're one and you don't know where the time has gone or the person you were before is.

It's all new and it's all worth being captured.
