From the first moment, it was clear that this family came not just for pretty pictures, but for something more meaningful: a chance to freeze time. To step out of the busyness of the everyday and just be — together, as they are.
“We were really drawn to your style and wanted to capture some sweet, natural moments as a family,” she told me.
“It felt like the perfect opportunity to get some beautiful photos where her personality was able to be captured.”
And captured it was.
One of my favourite things about these sessions is how quickly kids can open up when they’re given permission to play, to snuggle in, and to shine on their own terms. That’s exactly what happened on this couch — a little game of peek-a-boo turned into pure magic.
“The whole experience was so relaxed and enjoyable,” she said.
“You made it easy for us to just be ourselves. The peek-a-boo photos on the couch have to be my absolute favourite.”
That kind of warmth doesn’t just happen. It’s part trust, part timing, and part knowing when to simply let go of expectations. And it means the world to hear that it came through:
“You have such a warm and effortless way of making everyone feel comfortable (Ash included her as well). It didn’t feel staged or forced at all.”
When they saw their gallery for the first time, it wasn’t about poses or perfect angles — it was about love. Real love, in the small looks, the scrunched noses, the tiny fingers reaching out.
“The photos perfectly captured the love and connection between us as a little family. It was so special to see those little moments frozen in time that we get to look back on.”
And for those wondering whether a mini session is enough to get what you’re hoping for — this is your sign.
“I’d say don’t hesitate — BOOK IT NOW! It’s such a wonderful experience, and the photos are something you’ll treasure forever.”
Mini sessions are now designed just for mums and their kids — this family was one of the last lucky ones to include dad. But the heart of it hasn’t changed. These sessions are about capturing what matters most: your bond, your love, your right now.
